Here is a typical street scene from Phnom Penh. It looks very similar to what I saw in movies about Cambodia circa 1975 before I came here. I suppose that can be interpreted as charming or disappointing. But Cambodia will never bore you. I just finished reading the book Off the Rails in Phnom Penh, which describes all the good and bad which make up this city.
